An accomplished director and pianist with numerous musical theatre productions to her credit (Peter MacDonald Productions), Dr. Long has been recognized as a respected choral director, music educator, festival adjudicator and clinician. Her unique style of accompanying while directing is a celebrated feature of her work.

Valerie is thrilled to be part of the success of Les Ms. and relishes her time in rehearsal with the members of this dynamic group. More than a choir, these women are cherished friends who bring love and laughter into her life.
